Highlight of the Week:
This week we camped two nights for the first time this season. The fishing in the lower sections of the river was amazing. We found excellent numbers of peacock bass (many of them large) and pacu borracha.
The highlight of the week didn't come from a fish - it came from the jungle. We saw two jaguars, including a black one that came close to the camp, which was a good surprise for the staff and our guests. It was an amazing experience that highlighted what an extraordinary ecosystem this is!
