- Pacu Borracha: 38cm
- Pacu Prata: 30cm
- Bicuda: 66cm
The river levels are dropping very fast, making the wading better. We’ve seen lots of nice peacock bass, and they are aggressively taking surface flies. We saw lots of nice-sized mantrinxã as well. Fishing for pacu borracha on dry flies has been good, and the water conditions are near perfect for this type of fishing. The creeks are dropping fast, making wolf fish much easier to catch. We are still seeing big wolf fish in the shallows above and below some rapids.
One of the highlights of the week was the great dance party we had with the Kayapo Indians on Saturday night. We had lots of fun during our second week and can’t wait to see what’s in store for the rest of the season.
