The river is now clear making dry flies more effective. Lots of nice-sized pacu are taking flies from the surface. We also caught many good-sized mantrinxãs on hoppers. With the creeks lower, we also found wolf fish more easily. We had six guests this week, and the three anglers from Japan all landed lots of fish on dries by employing various trout fishing techniques.
The highlight of the week was the number of fish caught on hoppers and dries, and we also had guests enjoy the rare and incredible experience of encountering two black jaguars. Thank you, Mother Nature, for a fun, great week.
