Group: 8 anglers
Water Conditions:
Water Color – Getting really clearer
Water Level – Dropping little faster
Weather Conditions:
Temperature – Average 28 C
Sunny during all the week
Fishing Conditions:
Second week of the season with the water still a little high for the usual, the group of anglers could not be happier with the number and size of fish landed. We had a stronger rainy season this past year in comparison with previous years, and because of that the fish could not be more health and fat from all the food they find inside the jungle. We came very close to beat our peacock bass record (again this week) with a fish 67 cm long the same weight as the previous record. We are almost sure the Melaniae peacock bass record is going to be broken this season. Water is starting to get cleaner every day so we are expecting a amazing third
week.
Fishing Stats:
Total number of fish landed in the week – 437
Biggest fish landed in the week:
Wolf Fish: 82 cm
Peacock Bass: 67 cm
Mantrinxã : 51 cm
Pacu Borracha : 43 cm
Pacu prata: 39 cm
Bicuda: 81 cm
Highlights:
The highlight this week was the monster red tail catfish caught by Bruno, probably the biggest one we ever saw here. And also the 2 jaguars spotted at river shore during the week. Kendjam is just wild and amazing.
