In a twist of fate, a last-minute cancellation left us with a smaller, more intimate group. This week, with only four adults and two spirited children, unfolded like a timeless tale of nature’s wonder and human connection.

• A New Perspective: Witnessing the children’s wide-eyed wonder as they bonded with the Kayapo kids was a sight to behold. Their laughter and curiosity bridged worlds, offering a unique view of the river and its secrets.
• Old Friends, New Stories: Welcoming back our cherished friends, Teca and Eduardo, for their third sojourn at Kendjam was a heartwarming reunion. Their commitment speaks volumes, as they’re already planning their return next year.

• Guides Gone Wild: With fewer guests, our expert guides had some rare downtime. Naturally, they took to the waters themselves, landing some impressive catches and reminding us all why they are the best in the business.
